We have had several questions about Thrive recently, when is the next one? Is it going to be in July? Is it going to be in December? What are the plans for Thrive?
Well, after much discussion and prayer we have decided to let Thrive rest. We believe it to be the right decision. Our church, the First UPC of Euless, is going through a lot of evangelism efforts in our city to reach those in our local community. We feel that, at this point, it is important that we re-focus our energy, finances, and direction to this effort.
One of our primary goals of Thrive was to raise awareness at both the District and National levels about the unique needs that College and Career have. We feel that this has been accomplished.
For those of you in Texas and the surrounding areas, we highly recommend FUEL. It is a College and Career retreat in the fall. I went last year and had a great time. We had several great moves of God, along with some very frank discussions, and of course a lot of fun and fellowship.
There is also Winter Break for those of you who are able to attend.
We are very excited to see where the College and Career ministries are going and look forward to helping and supporting where we can.
